VISION
We envision Living Desert University as the primary instructional institution in the Coachella Valley for learning to live in California's deserts and for developing an appreciation for the deserts of the world.
MISSION
The mission of Living Desert University is to instill an appreciation and value for the desert, to educate the Coachella Valley community on environmentally friendly ways to live in the desert, and to provide the community with the tools and understanding for making good environmentally-sound decisions concerning their desert home.
STRATEGY
Living Desert University offers unique classes taught by locally recognized experts, and offers participants Master Desert Gardener, Master Desert Naturalist, Coachella Valley Hiking and Desert Backyard Habitat certification programs.
