On the Road with RoxAnna: Day Ten
May 10, 2017Today is my travel day home from this long adventure, back to California I go. This will be the last post in this series. I hope you have enjoyed going on this adventure with me. It was quite the experience and I am coming home with lots of stories. Traveling to new places is always inspiring and eye opening. I love seeing other cultures, speaking with people from all over the world but it is always nice to get home. Traveling is good for the soul as you are allowed to experience other cultures and ways of life. For me, it also makes me appreciate home so much more too. We live in a beautiful country with immense opportunities that others only dream about. I am grateful for the land we live in as frustrating as it can be sometimes, it is still home.
As you go on your own travels in life, I hope you too will immerse yourself in the culture, allow yourself to be overwhelmed by what you see, and enjoy the people you may meet. And when you get home, you hug your loved ones and have a good nights sleep in your own bed. That is my plan this evening. Oh, but first an In N Out burger. A girls gotta have her priorities.
Finally, together we can do amazing things to make the world a better place, to ensure that wildlife and wild places do not disappear. We only have one planet so we need to take care of it. At The Living Desert, we are committed to protecting the deserts of the world, these are tough environments that need our help. I am so proud of the work we do and will continue to do for the deserts. They need us. My hope is that every day we each will do something positive, make our actions matter, be a bold voice for wild life and together we can save animals from extinction.
