Join Kirk Anderson, The Living Desert's Garden Manager, and Jennifer Purcell, The Living Desert's Botanical Garden Registrar, accompanied by an Anza Borrego State Park Naturalist in experiencing Anza Borrego's natural wonders; geology, flora, fauna and folk tales. The fun-filled educational bus tour and wildflower stroll will leave you begging for more!
Trip includes continental breakfast at The Living Desert's gorgeous Lurie Patio, skilled interpretation of the amazing and fascinating Coachella Valley south-east landscape and historic Anza Borrego State Park, picnic lunch, and wildflower identification walk (rated easy). Lastly, our homeward stop will be at Oasis Date Garden where you may choose to enjoy a refreshing and delicious date shake!
