Meet Captain Dave, an experienced marine naturalist, filmmaker, photographer, speaker and weekly columnist. We'll join him and his crew for a wonderful experience of playful dolphins, up-close observations of our magnificent migrating California gray whales, and other mysteries of the sea. We'll explore ancient stories, mystical lore and rare insights into new scientific discoveries about these amazing creatures and the oceans they call home. We'll board our exclusive private charter; the 50-foot sailing catamaran, The Manute'a, which offers state of the art equipment including the brand new Eye to Eye Underwater Viewing Pod, underwater camera, research hydrophone, galley, two bathrooms and the best navigation equipment around. We can only accept 45 reservations, so book early for this spectacular day! Trip includes escorted motor coach transportation from/to Palm Desert, snacks and bottled water and a half-day private chartered catamaran, accompanied by marine naturalists.
