PALM DESERT/INDIAN WELLS, CA – (May 3, 2022) – Palm Desert Brew at the Zoo returns to The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens on Saturday, May 7 with a wide array of local and regional craft beers and bites, including selections from La Quinta Brewing Company, Coachella Valley Brewing Company, Golden State Cider and Golden Road Brewing.

Advanced tickets are required for the 11th annual event, which runs from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Admission tickets are available at LivingDesert.org/Brew; capacity is limited. Must be 21+ to attend and provide valid photo ID.

Presented by the City of Palm Desert, attendees will be able to choose from the following full-size offerings available for purchase:

La Quinta Brewing Company: Even Par IPA (7.2% ABV); Poolside Blonde (4.8 % ABV; Koffi Porter (6.3% ABV)

Coachella Valley Brewing: Joshua Tree Rye IPA (7% ABV); Desert Citrus (5% ABV)

Golden State Cider: Jamaica (5.8% ABV); Mellow Green (6.5% ABV) Golden Road Fruit Cart Hard Seltzer Variety Pack: Strawberry/Pineapple, Mango, Watermelon, Cucumber/Lime (4% ABV)

Guests will also be able to delight in a multitude of tasty culinary creations available for purchase, including:

Village WaTuTu Pub: Birria Tacos; Papas Rojas Tacos; Chicken Tostada; Elote (corn on a stick); Mini Churro Bites

Savanna Sips and Sweets: Hand-Rolled Ice Cream Sandwich; Chocolate Dipped Pearl Waffles

Location 3: Chicken N’ Bubble Waffle Cone with Chipotle Aioli; Mini Cuban Sandwich

Advanced tickets for Palm Desert Brew at the Zoo are $40 each, which includes admission, live entertainment, one BrewBuck and a surprise souvenir. BrewBucks can be used to redeem one beer, wine or food item; all menu items are one BrewBuck each. Additional BrewBucks are $6 and can be purchased on site during the event. All proceeds benefit The Living Desert’s conservation and education programs. Attendees must be 21+ and provide a valid photo ID.

Guests will also be able to explore the Rhino Savanna boardwalk and African Safari trail, catch a glimpse of giraffe, cheetah, and rhino, take in the sunset, play games and more. The evening will be complemented with live entertainment by Lisa Lynn and the Broken Hallelujahs, The Refills, and DJ Modgirl.
