Wildlife Rehabilitation

The Living Desert's Wildlife Rehabilitation Program is temporarily closed for animal intakes. The closure is in effect beginning March 18, 2020 until at least April 1, 2020, in conjunction with the temporary closure of The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens.

Community members who find injured, sick, and orphaned wildlife may still contact the rehab program via phone or email. Staff will return phone calls and emails as promptly as possible to provide advice or referral to another wildlife facility, as necessary. To contact The Living Desert's Rehabilitation Program, call (760) 568-2330 or email rehab@livingdesert.org
