K-1: Do You See What I See

• Embark on an exciting adventure into the fascinating world of animal vision! Through hands-on experiences, games, and STEAM activities, campers will uncover the remarkable diversity of sight in the animal kingdom, from the ultraviolet vision of bees to the infrared sensing abilities of snakes.

2-3: Deserts at Night

• Nocturnal creatures spring to life as the sun dips below the horizon and the desert cools. Escaping the day’s scorching heat, they use the cover of darkness to hunt, forage, and explore. From stealthy owls to slithering snakes, campers will learn how the desert night pulses with fascinating sights and sounds, a testament to how life flourishes in even the harshest environments.
