They will dive into hands-on activities throughout the day, including exciting STEAM projects that foster a deep connection to the environment. This camp offers an unforgettable experience, allowing young explorers to discover, learn, and have a blast. Sign up today and let the wild journey of fun and discovery begin!

Themes:
K-1: Zoo’s Clues

  • Oh no! Sound the alarms; we’ve got a clever runaway on the loose! Grab your thinking caps and magnifying glasses as you join the search for our camouflaged escape artist. Follow the clues and crack the case in this thrilling 1-day camp adventure!

2-3: Animal Trainers

  • How do you check a hyena’s teeth? How would you slip a bracelet onto a 1,500-pound rhino? Could you draw blood from a giraffe? Animals in human care are trained in specific behaviors that allow them to participate in their health and wellbeing voluntarily. In this camp, you’ll dive into the principles of behavior modification techniques. Campers will discover the fascinating “whys” and “hows” of animal training through tours, activities, and games!

4-6: Down to the Root

  • Gardening goes beyond a simple hobby; it’s a meaningful way to connect with nature, enhance your environment, and support local wildlife! In this ZooCamp, campers will dive into the world of native plants, participate in STEAM activities, and learn how to care for species that support the animals around us. Plus, they’ll experience up-close animal encounters, witnessing firsthand how their gardening efforts make a real difference. Get ready to dig deep, discover the science of gardening, and make a positive impact!
