Camps and Youth Programs inspiring the next generation

The Living Desert offers several fun and engaging opportunities to learn about the animals and their ecosystems. Day camps allow children up-close encounters with the animals and go behind-the-scenes to learn how the Zoo operates. Overnight sleepovers give children a look at the nocturnal behaviors of animals and the enchanting sights and sounds of the surrounding desert. Scouts may earn their badges and patches in the natural sciences through programs at the Zoo. Toddlers will enjoy a day of adventure at the Discovery Center with toys and play designed specifically for them.

The Living Desert aims to inspire guests to care for the natural world and understand the importance of diverse and sustainable ecosystems.
