THE LIVING DESERT IS GIVING THE GIFT OF ADDITIONAL HOURS
The Zoo To Remain Open Until 7 p.m. December 26 – 30PALM DESERT/INDIAN WELLS, CA • December 20, 2017
In the spirit of holiday giving, The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens is giving guests a few more hours to enjoy the sights and sounds of the zoo. From Tuesday, December 26 through Saturday, December 30, The Living Desert will be open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
During the extended hours, guests will enjoy holiday lights and light displays and will be able to explore the African section of the zoo. Giraffe will be on the savannah and cheetahs, zebras and warthogs will be awaiting guests. Special keeper chats will be held at 5:30 and 6 p.m. In addition, camel rides will be available for $6 and carousel rides for $2. All food and beverage outlets and the gift shop also will remain open until 7 p.m.
“This is the second year we’ve extended our hours during the holiday season,” said Allen Monroe, President/CEO of The Living Desert. “Once again, we are happy to offer families the opportunity to spend even more time enjoying the festive lights and experiencing the magic of The Living Desert.”
Regular admission prices apply prior to 5 p.m. and admission after 5 p.m. is reduced to $6 members $8 for non-members, with the last entry at 6:30 p.m. Proceeds benefit The Living Desert’s mission of conservation through preservation, education and appreciation.
