The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens’ most spooktacular weekend of the year is back with the wildly popular H.N. and Frances C. Berger Foundation’s Howl-O-Ween. This not-so-spooky zoo, family adventure is set for Sunday, October 29, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Tuesday, October 31, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Guests are encouraged to dress up in their favorite costumes and enjoy the exciting activities planned. Howl-O-Ween attendees under 12 are encouraged to bring a reusable bag to hit the trick-or-treat trail with a large variety of treat stations.

Returning this year, Howl-O-Ween visitor ghosts, goblins, princesses and super-heroes can visit the park’s African animals– stick your neck out with the giraffe, trick or treat with the cheetahs and zebras, say boo to the warthogs, and wander through Village WaTuTu.

Additional activities include pumpkin bowling, arts and crafts, face painting, a monster maze, live entertainment, games and more. The Living Desert’s zoo mascots will also be making appearances throughout the events.

The Howl-O-Ween daytime event on Sunday, October 29 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. is free to members and with paid park admission to the zoo. Halloween night, Tuesday, October 31 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. is free to members and $10 for non-members. Howl-O-Ween at The Living Desert is generously presented by The H.N. and Frances C. Berger Foundation.

The Living Desert is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call (760) 346-5694 or visit www.LivingDesert.org.
