Throughout the day, they will dive into hands-on activities, including exciting STEAM projects that foster a deep connection to the environment. K-1: Wild Claws (Only offered December 22, 2025)

  • Dive into the mysterious and majestic world of wild cats! From the elusive to the powerful, this camp explores the habits, habitats, and secrets of the feline family. Uncover what makes these predators unique, explore their behaviors and survival tactics, and enjoy paws-on experiences with engaging activities, creative crafts, and up-close animal encounters. 

2-3: Animal Engineers

  • What do sunscreen, bicycles, and electricity have in common? They are all human inventions inspired by nature. Learn more about amazing examples of biomimicry, as well as other animal influenced gadgets and gizmos in this 1-day camp. 

4-6: Down to the Root

  • Gardening goes beyond a simple hobby — it’s a meaningful way to connect with nature, enhance your environment, and support local wildlife! In this ZooCamp, campers will dive into the world of native plants, participate in STEAM activities, and learn how to care for species that benefit the animals around us. Plus, they’ll experience up-close animal encounters, witnessing firsthand how their gardening efforts make a real difference. Get ready to dig deep, discover the science of gardening, and make a positive impact!

7-10: Beyond the Bite (Only offered December 29, 2025)

  • Explore animal digestive systems, analyze dental structures, diets, and adaptations. Understand how zookeepers apply this knowledge for optimal animal care. Join us in this insightful journey into the heart of the animal kingdom, bridging theory and practical wildlife management!
