Step into the future of desert conservation at the exciting Third Annual International Desert Conservation Summit, hosted by The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens. This groundbreaking event unites global experts in a relentless mission to safeguard the unique flora and fauna that call the desert home, setting the stage for an unforgettable and transformative experience.

We're granting over $150,000 to eight exceptional Conservation Heroes from distinguished organizations, empowering their efforts in desert conservation. This year's summit will focus on women in conservation, community-based initiatives, and impactful educational outreach in Sub-Saharan Africa. It will also highlight preserving the Southern California and Baja deserts and pioneering solutions to mitigate human-wildlife conflicts worldwide.

Saturday morning ushers in a day of riveting panels and presentations by the Conservation Heros. The highlight of the event unfolds during a special award ceremony luncheon, where we recognize these conservation champions. Renowned conservation presenter and media icon, Jeff Corwin, takes center stage on Saturday afternoon, delivering an inspiring keynote address. The day continues with networking opportunities and engaging interactions at our exhibitor tables.

On Sunday, we extend an exclusive invitation to explore The Living Desert, a globally recognized institution dedicated to the preservation of desert ecosystems. Your summit registration includes admission to the Zoo and Gardens, granting you access to guided hikes along nature trails, a journey through exquisite botanical gardens led by our knowledgeable horticulturalists, and an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour to unveil the inner workings of our specialized habitats and Zoo operations.
