Get ready for a howling good time at The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens' not-so-spooky Halloween celebration from 9:00am-3:00pm on Saturday, October 28, and Sunday, October 29.

The festive fun is included with your membership or regular Zoo admission.

Guests of all ages are invited to dress up in their favorite costume and celebrate the season with family-friendly Halloween activities and pop-up experiences throughout the park. Enjoy the fall festivities as you explore the deserts of the world, encounter more than 600 animals, and enjoy the beauty of our 50+ botanical gardens.

Howl-O-Ween includes themed thrills such as:

  • Trick-or-treat stations*
  • ALL-NEW limited-edition animal trading cards
  • Creep-tastic keeper connections
  • Festive face painting
  • Themed arts and crafts
  • Fall photo ops, giant yard games, and more

All included in your admission! 

Plus local beer, specialty cocktails, and tasty treats will be available on-site for purchase.

*If you’d like to participate in trick-or-treating, please BYO bag to support the Zoo’s efforts to reduce waste. All candy at Howl-O-Ween will be palm oil free or made with sustainable palm oil.

Adults and children are welcome and encouraged to dress in Halloween costumes for their visit to Howl-O-Ween. To allow for an enjoyable experience for everyone, we do not allow full face masks for adults, weapons, obscenity, or anything that could cause disturbance to either patrons or animals.
